OUR STORY
BASED ON A REAL PARTNER VISA JOURNEY
These templates were originally created during the preparation of a real Partner Visa application in Australia. At the time, we found there was a lack of simple, structured tools that clearly explained how to organise relationship evidence in line with common expectations from the Department of Home Affairs.
So we built our own system to help structure everything clearly, from relationship history to financial commitment and shared life evidence. It was designed not just to list documents, but to bring order to a process that often feels scattered and overwhelming when approached without guidance.
During our own application, we experienced first-hand how easy it is to feel uncertain about whether the evidence presented is “enough” or “correct,” and how much pressure that uncertainty can create throughout the process. That experience shaped every part of how these templates were built.
After receiving a successful visa outcome, we refined and improved the templates based on the full experience of the application process — including what worked well, what was unclear, and what we wish we had known from the beginning.
We then decided to make them available to other couples going through the same journey, so they do not have to start from scratch, guess what to include, or rely on fragmented information when preparing something this important.
